Important information for all rentals

Driver Requirements

Age Requirements

  • Minimum age: 21 years old
  • For luxury vehicles and 4x4s: Minimum age 25 years old
  • Senior drivers: Maximum age 75 years (may require additional insurance)

License Requirements

  • Valid driving license held for at least 1 year
  • International drivers: International Driving Permit recommended but not mandatory if license is in Latin alphabet
  • License must be valid for the entire rental period

Required Documents

  • Valid passport or national ID card
  • Valid driving license
  • Credit card in the driver's name for the security deposit (some exceptions apply)
  • Proof of address (for rentals longer than 14 days)

Reservation & Payment

Booking Process

  • Reservations can be made online, by phone, or via WhatsApp
  • Pre-bookings are held for 24 hours without payment
  • Confirmation requires a 20% advance payment or valid credit card details

Payment Methods

  • Major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express
  • Cash payments in Moroccan Dirhams (MAD)
  • Bank transfers (for advance bookings only)

Cancellation Policy

  • Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup
  • Less than 48 hours: 20% of the total rental cost
  • No-show: 100% of the first day's rental charge

Vehicle Pickup & Return

Pickup Procedure

  • Vehicle inspection and condition report before departure
  • Fuel level verification (usually full tank)
  • Security deposit payment or pre-authorization
  • Signing of rental agreement

Return Procedure

  • Vehicle must be returned at the agreed location and time
  • Same fuel level as at pickup (usually full tank)
  • Vehicle inspection for any new damage
  • Late returns incur a charge of one extra day if more than 1 hour late

Early/Late Returns

  • Early returns: No refund for unused days
  • Extensions: Possible with advance notice (subject to availability)
  • Late returns without notice: Additional charges apply (€30/hour)

Insurance & Liability

Basic Insurance (Included)

  • Third-party liability insurance (legally required)
  • Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with excess
  • Theft Protection (TP) with excess

Additional Coverage Options

  • Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW): Reduces or eliminates excess
  • Glass & Tire Protection
  • Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)

Liability & Exclusions

  • Insurance is void if driving under influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Damage to undercarriage, interior, or roof not covered by standard CDW
  • Loss of keys, documents, or personal belongings not covered
  • Negligent driving or unauthorized drivers void all insurance

Road Rules & Restrictions

Territorial Restrictions

  • Vehicles must remain within Moroccan territory
  • Desert driving allowed only with 4x4 vehicles
  • Certain remote areas may be restricted (check with staff)

Driving Regulations

  • Driver must comply with all Moroccan traffic laws
  • Speed limits: 60 km/h in urban areas, 100 km/h on open roads, 120 km/h on highways
  • All occupants must wear seatbelts
  • Zero tolerance for drink driving

Vehicle Usage

  • No smoking in vehicles (cleaning fee applies if violated)
  • No pets without prior authorization and pet cleaning fee
  • No commercial use or subletting of rental vehicles
  • Only authorized and registered drivers may operate the vehicle

Breakdowns & Emergencies

Roadside Assistance

  • 24/7 roadside assistance included in all rentals
  • Emergency contact number provided with vehicle documents
  • Replacement vehicle provided in case of breakdown (subject to availability)

Accidents

  • All accidents must be reported immediately to the rental company and police
  • European Accident Report form must be completed
  • Failure to report accidents voids insurance coverage

Theft or Loss

  • Vehicle theft must be reported immediately to police and rental company
  • Police report is required for insurance claims
  • Vehicle keys and documents must be returned to the rental company

Additional Information

Fuel Policy

  • Full-to-Full: Vehicle provided with full tank and must be returned full
  • Missing fuel will be charged at premium rates plus service fee
  • Diesel/petrol mix-ups are not covered by insurance

Fines & Penalties

  • Customer is responsible for all traffic violations and parking fines
  • Administration fee of 50 MAD applies to all fine processing
  • Unpaid fines will be charged to the customer's credit card

Privacy Policy

  • Customer data is collected only for rental purposes
  • Personal information is not shared with third parties except as required by law
  • GPS tracking may be used in vehicles for security purposes only
